In Sölden the winter season already starts in the beginning of October, as soon as the stars of the Alpine Ski World Cup get together on Rettenbach Glacier high above Sölden - on the occasion of the Alpine Ski Championship Season Opener. "Ladies first" is the slogan of the Women's giant slalom held on Saturday while the Men's competition takes place on Sunday. Thrilling moments and loads of action await you!

It is probably the most extraordinary and outstanding spectacle in the Alps: HANNIBAL transfers the history of Carthage straight to Sölden’s glacier world. Together with us and Red Bull, the artist network around Lawine Torrèn stages Hannibal's historic alpine crossing by using snow groomers, airplanes, dancers, helicopters and extreme athletes at 3,000 m above sea level.
